Terms of Use
These are the terms for using Morphologos. We have kept them short and in plain language — please actually read them.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Morphologos, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.
2. The service
Morphologos is a Bible reading and study app for the Hebrew Old Testament and Greek New Testament, in English and Hungarian. The Bible text (World English Bible and Károli) is bundled with the app and readable offline. Signed-in features include reading sync, a community feed, and an AI "Ask" feature that answers Bible questions. Some features require an internet connection, and the service may change over time as we improve it.
3. Accounts
You sign in with Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android). Keep your account information accurate, and use one account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → account settings → Delete account).
4. Subscriptions & billing
Morphologos offers two optional auto-renewable subscriptions, purchased through Apple In-App Purchase:
- Regular — $11.99 per month
- Pro — $29.99 per month
Both unlock more capable AI models and higher AI usage limits. Prices may vary by region — the App Store shows the final price before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases in the app to regain access to an active subscription.
- Billing and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. If you believe you were charged in error, request a refund from Apple.
5. Acceptable use
The community feed exists so people can share what they're learning. Don't use it — or any other part of the app — to post content that is unlawful, abusive, or hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights (for example, material you don't have permission to share). We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Community content
You own the posts you share. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store your posts and display them to other users in the app — that is what sharing means here; we don't use your posts for anything else. If you see a post that breaks the rules, report it with the ⋯ menu on the post.
7. AI content
Answers in the Ask feature are generated by AI. The feature is designed to cite the verses it draws on, but AI answers can still be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not professional advice — theological, legal, medical, or otherwise. Weigh everything against Scripture itself.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Morphologos is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it accurate, available, and free of bugs, but we can't promise it always will be. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Termination
You can stop using Morphologos, and delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If your account ends, any active subscription remains governed by Apple — cancel it in your App Store account settings.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
